Day by Day Itinerary
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive at Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, yet rich in diverse landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the scenic Ngurdoto Crater, alkaline lakes, and the stunning peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. After a picnic lunch, take a two-hour forest hike to Tululusia Waterfall. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight, relishing unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro.
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Tarangire National Park, located 115 km from Arusha, covering 2,800 square kilometers. Enjoy a full day of game drives, discovering the park’s highlights such as its large elephant herds, tree-climbing pythons, and iconic baobab trees. Spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife. In the evening, drive to Marera View Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a 6:30 AM breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Explore the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, home to the Big Five and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst stunning landscapes and high concentrations of flamingos. The Crater, a Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, hosts over 7,000 wildebeest, 6,000 hyenas, 4,000 zebras, and more. In the evening, drive to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, journey along rugged roads to Lake Eyasi, a soda lake in the Rift Valley. Arrive in the afternoon for an immersive cultural experience with the Tatoga tribe, guided by a local expert. Explore the area on foot, encountering the Hadzabe bushmen and Datoga tribes, who maintain ancient traditions. Discover their traditional hunting methods and lifestyle. Return to Marera View Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Our driver will transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive, where you can see climbing tree lions, abundant flamingos, and visit a hot spring. In the afternoon, explore Mto wa Mbu Village, a cultural melting pot where Nilotes, Cushites, Bantu, and Hamites converge. Experience Maasai culture, visit local schools and community projects, and hike the Rift Valley wall for stunning views of Lake Manyara. Later, we will drive you to Arusha for the night.
